wheelchairs climb stairs
Has anyone sat in the wheelchair space block 107 row 28 seat 144 at Wembley Stadium?
I have read a review from someone who said that they had to climb steps to get to their seat. This is what I read “I initially worried about how I would get on to the main level of the stadium but once I walked towards Wembley way there was lift access for the disabled. For which I was very glad because there was a lot of stairs to negotiate. I was in a lower tier of the stadium in block 107 which was in a corner of the stadium which had no steps to get to and was where one of the wheelchair sections was based. The wheel chair section was good plenty of space and I have to say the view was excellent however I must state that I had trouble getting up the steps to my seat, which again brings up one of my issues why aren’t banisters used when designing these stadiums???!??!.”
This worried me as I cannot climb stairs. The website I found the review on is http://www.mdctrailblazers.org/blogs/520_wembley-stadium
Thanks for all your help, in anticipation.
They said they had a lift there. Therefore, no stairs.
